When it was taken to the editor, he was intrigued by the past flashbacks of memory of Scout. So he advised Ms Harper Lee to first write the book describing the childhood of Scout. So she then wrote To Kill A Mokingbird. It was an instinct classic. Harper Lee then never wanted to publish the book which originally she wrote. Whenever asked about it she always said the manuscript was lost! Her lawyer of today ( her sister used to be her lawyer but she died a year ago) found the manuscript while going through her documents. Persuaded Ms Harper Lee to get it published. I am waiting for it to come on the shelves. 2 million copies will be published first.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02427952082135197049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307074296305097288.post-55298275904736613752015-02-05T20:04:51.637+01:002015-02-05T20:04:51.637+01:00Yes, a truly wonderful novel. It will be released on July 14th.This is in an article in the newspaper,Tribune, I subscribe to. Harper Lee published To Kill A Mokingbird at age 34 which was an instant classic. The sequel takes place 20 years later featuring ageing Atticus Finch and grown daughter Scout. Will the sequel " Go Set A Watchman" have the same impact? Is a good question. Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch can never be forgotten. A fantastic novel and a terrific movie. Her heroes and heroines ate both strong yet sensitive individuals. I really like her novel Once and Always. Also the hero of that novel. Oh I could keep on gushing about the book. Maybe someday I would or you should Ramla ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11009163797340884519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307074296305097288.post-46168026133523924592015-01-04T20:39:25.323+01:002015-01-04T20:39:25.323+01:00Thanks for reminding me.
